MEET THE “ROLE” MODELS

Meet our models and see why they’ve chosen to support the YMCA!

Mikkel McBride
ICCU

I love the YMCA’s cause and mission. It’s so important to be able to provide quality and meaningful development programs for our youth and that’s exactly what YMCA does, regardless of status or income. Our community is better because of the programs YMCA offers and events like this are important to carry on that mission.

If its for THE KIDS……………..I am in. Always!!

Bryan McMartin
McAlvain Construction

I wanted to support the YMCA and have some fun raising money for a great cause!

Rich Stout
Kendall

When I look back, the YMCA has always been a part of my life. It’s amazing how the smell of a pool can bring back so many memories and remind you of the friendships you have made. That’s one reason I am passionate to give back and support the programs that have made an impact on me! I am honored to have been selected as one of the 20 models for the 2023 Kendall Catwalk for a Cause event, benefiting the Treasure Valley Family YMCA at Horsethief Reservoir and Child Development programs. Your contribution to the YMCA and me will help ensure that generations to come can have the same positive experiences I did growing up. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Michaela Bocci
Miss Caldwell Night Rodeo

Being a rodeo queen is to be a role model. Having this amazing opportunity to work with a group of kids outside of the rodeo environment was too good to pass up! It’s my job to get people excited about the sport of rodeo and advocate for the western way of life.

ABOUT

The Treasure Valley Family YMCA strengthens the foundations of the community by developing successful youth, engaging people in healthy living and instilling a commitment to social responsibility.

The Y is the largest provider of childcare in the state of Idaho serving more than 2,900 children each year. Through this quality child development, children are empowered to thrive in school, the community and life. More than 20 percent of these children receive financial assistance for their Y enrollment. This financial assistance is made possibly thanks to community partnerships like Kendall Cares and generous community member donations.
