Get To Know Michael And Why He Said Yes To Being A Model
How did you get roped into doing this, and what was your first thought when asked?
I was eager to help create and be a part of this event in Idaho. Our Kendall Cares team has been able to help raise a significant amount of money for the non-profits we support in Eugene through a similar event. Excited about the possibilities for this event in Idaho.
Why did you say yes?
It is a great event, supporting a great cause, with the potential to be something special.
What is your official job title?
President and COO
How would you describe your job to your mother?
It is similar to herding cats.
All families are unique, tell us about yours.
I am blessed with an incredible family. I have very supportive and loving parents. A sister that is inspiring and smart, and a wife that is beautiful, intelligent and an amazing mother and best friend. I have no idea how I got so lucky. I am fortunate to have two healthy and happy children who drive my wife up a wall some days, and sweet little angels the other days.
Tell us about your personal passions, talents, and/or hobbies.
Family and work are the two main passions/priorities in my life and occupy most of my time. That said, I want to be the best husband and father possible as well as spend the time necessary to provide support and opportunities to our 2,000 employees. As for additional passions and hobbies, I enjoy golfing, skiing, and thinking about working out.
What is something that you swore you would never do as a parent before you had kids that you do now?
Who inspired you when you were growing up, and why?
My father. His patience and kindness were infectious. Something that I definitely aspire to be.
