Our Mission
Established in 1891, the Treasure Valley Family YMCA (The Y) is a cause driven nonprofit organization that works to strengthen our community by developing successful youth, engaging people in healthy living , and instilling a commitment to social responsibility.
We welcome and serve all people.
Child Development
We believe every child is of promise and deserves the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve.
Since 1978, YMCA Child Development has been a leader in affordable education, equity, and community partnerships, with highly trained staff and evidence based curriculum.
Y Camp at Horsethief Reservoir
We also believe children discover themselves through interactions with others and having the freedom to explore.
Since 1905, the Treasure Valley Family YMCA has provided youth with the Y camp experience. Youth are immersed in community where making friends is natural, exploring new interests is encouraged and discovering inner strength is guaranteed.
